Write for us

Rural Progress Hub welcomes thoughtful pitches about rural development and the choices shaping rural places. Send proposals through the Contact page; a clear subject, distinct angle and explanation of reader value help us assess a pitch.

What fits

We are interested in clear, original work about local planning, shared assets, land use, rural work and community life. Strong proposals explain a subject in context, make useful distinctions and give readers a reason to see the issue differently. Evergreen explainers and carefully framed comparisons are welcome.

What to include

Tell us the central question, the proposed approach and why it suits Rural Progress Hub. Note the likely scope and any important limitations, especially where conditions vary by place. A pitch should be specific enough to distinguish its angle from familiar generalities.

Sending a proposal

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Please send a proposal rather than a completed article unless we have agreed otherwise. We cannot promise publication or a particular response time, and we do not accept material that depends on invented evidence or unsupported claims.
